Chantel Aboytes
Owner/Lead Event Planner

With a passion ignited by her parents’ own business journeys, Chantel found her way into wedding planning and floral design from an early age. She grew up in the wedding industry, honing her meticulous eye for design and affinity for detailed logistics from real life weddings. Her love of weddings only blossomed over time and 9 years ago, she founded Elite Event Planning to help even more couples have their best day ever.  

Chantel is continually driven by the love and care she feels for her clients. Her favorite parts of a wedding day are when the bride walks down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband and when the newlyweds see all their hard work and planning come to fruition by seeing the reception space for the first time. Chantel’s attention to detail and infectious personality help her form strong relationships with top vendors in the industry, and create a fun, stress-free planning experience for her clients.

Outside of planning and coordinating weddings, you can find Chantel spending quality time with her husband and pups, or hosting family parties. She is a planner through and through!

Fun Fact: I do not drink coffee! For some reason it puts me to sleep. I much rather prefer a nice smoothie, or an Açai bowl. Jamba Juice is my favorite!

Diana De Los Santos
Lead/Assistant Planner

As a tenured member of the Elite Event Planning team, Diana has helped countless couples have their dream weddings with her strong organization skills and creative nature. For the last 7 years, she has taken pride in helping make a couple’s wedding the best it can possibly be.

Her passion lies in bringing families together and celebrating love on a wedding day. For Diana, nothing compares to watching the bride walk down the aisle or watching the mother of the groom pin the boutonniere on her son. She loves creating special, heartfelt moments like these that make all her hard work worth it.

Beyond crafting beautiful weddings, you'll often find Diana reading romance novels. What can she say: She loves love!

Fun Fact: I've been married a long time and as much as I love weddings, I never had one myself!

 
 

Monique Farias
Lead/Assistant Planner

Monique comes to the Elite Event Planning team with a strong background as a top wedding DJ. She had always harbored a love for events and made the natural transition to event coordination using her unparalleled communication skills and effervescent personality. Her invaluable onsite experience as a DJ is now helping her to flawlessly execute a couple’s wedding day timeline, problem solving on the fly and effectively liaising with each and every vendor.

Nothing brings Monique more joy than watching all the planning details come together on a wedding day. She loves celebrating the happiest milestone in a couple’s journey and is committed to making clients’ weddings go as smoothly as possible. She knows she’s done her job well when she sees the newlyweds be blissfully in love during their first dance. It’s the moment she loves most!

Outside of the wedding world, Monique enjoys dancing and traveling to new destinations.

Fun Fact: I love to plan all types of parties. I love to create magical experiences for anniversaries, birthday parties and many more occasions.

 

Connie Gonzalez
Lead/Assistant Planner

Weddings have been a lifelong passion for Connie, as her parents owned a catering and décor company in the event industry. She inherited not only their love for making others happy but also their natural ability to relate to people, which are now allowing her to create dream weddings for her clients.

Because of her roots, family is incredibly important to Connie and she is now sharing her love of wedding planning with her own daughter. Her favorite part of a wedding day is when the couple walks back down the aisle after tying the knot. The joy in this moment is unbeatable and constantly inspires her to help couples transform their dreams into reality.

Weddings are the family business, but when she’s not working, Connie enjoys exploring new, local hotspots with her mini me.

Fun Fact: I’m a bit of a miracle baby!

 

Mallorie Howe
Assistant Planner

Wedding planning found Mallorie when she planned her sister’s wedding. After being deeply involved in the planning process, the magic of the wedding industry became evident to her and she hasn’t looked back since. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a passion that she now pours her heart into with every wedding.

She loves being a part of a key moment in clients’ lives and always gets goosebumps when she helps a bride walk down the aisle. Mallorie is devoted to making her couples’ weddings as smooth and stress-free as possible and she is able to do so with her sunny demeanor and time management skills.

When she’s not onsite helping to create magic, Mallorie can be found reading. Her nose is always in a book!

Regan Nornes
Assistant Planner

For Regan, the journey into wedding planning was a serendipitous one that began when she planned her own wedding. It was through her own planning process that she discovered her knack for event design and logistics. She fell in love with coordinating different vendors and creating the perfect atmosphere, which ultimately propelled her to lend her expertise to other couples to ensure that they too could have a seamlessly magical experience, free from stress.

The driving force behind Regan’s hard work is the sheer joy of creating memorable experiences for clients. Whether she’s planning a wedding or other event, she believes that every occasion should be a one-of-a-kind experience and she continuously strives to make each event truly special and unique.

Her favorite part of a wedding day is when the bride walks down the aisle. This heartwarming and emotional moment never fails to bring a tear to her eye!

When she’s not planning weddings, Regan can be found going to brunch with her husband, Nick, and spending time with their two cats, Chloe and Cosmo.

Fun Fact: I love collecting Starbucks cups! I have a huge collection of them from various locations. It's interesting to see the different designs and styles they offer, and it's become a fun hobby of mine.
